Repellant against moles and root voles

Mole & Root Vole – Gel protects your paths from undermining and prevents tripping hazards for children and adults. The repellant is used to keep away and displace moles. The Gel protects areas from undermining by moles, where molehills may lead to accidents (e.g. paths, sport fields). Mole & Root Vole – Gel functions by using a fragrance, that is very pleasant to humans, but offensive to moles and voles. The animals exit the treated areas and voluntarily avoid them in the future. Hence, the endangered and useful moles do not suffer any harm from this method.

Application:
As a precaution in springtime or as soon as molehills are visible, apply a track of gel of about 5 cm per m2 to ward off unwanted moles.

Application technique:
With a spade jab a gap into the ground. Apply Mole & Root Vole – Gel at the bottom of the gap and cover it with soil again. A gel-track of 5 cm is enough for 1 m2. Hence, keep 1 m distance in each direction of the applied spot before treating the next area. In case of present moles or molehills, there are two options:

1. Simple displacement (mole can flee in all directions):
Starting at the centre, treat a circular portion of the area (depending on the size of the overall area, treating one third or one half is sufficient). After 2-3 days it is necessary to treat the remaining outer portion of the area.

2. Focused displacement (mole is being displaced from one side to the other):
In order to protect a certain side (e.g. house wall, flowerbed) start treating a portion of the area in strips (depending on the size of the overall area, treating one third or one half is sufficient). After 2-3 days it is necessary to treat the remaining other side.
By treating only portions, the mole has sufficient time to flee the affected area. After the treatment, smooth out the molehills.
In order to prevent the return of moles and voles in the subsequent year or after a whole surface treatment, apply a 3 m broad strip of gel on the outer edge as described above.
