Mode of Action:
Insect Powder Spray has a highly dehydrating effect on poultry red mites and other crawling pests like bed bugs, ticks, cockroaches, fleas and ants.

Insect Powder Spray should be applied on cracks, hideouts and running grounds. Through direct contact the vermin will be covered with powder and die quickly. Due to the biophysical function of the powder, there is no resistance known!

Application:
Shake thoroughly before use. A steady cloud of spray should be applied at a distance of 20 – 30 cm onto the floor of the clean stable. The moisture, which developed during the spraying, will evaporate quickly and will leave an even layer of diatom earth.

If required, also apply Insect Powder Spry under perches, U-profiles or egg covers. These areas need to be examined and treated on a regular basis. A commencing infestation, which is restricted to one area, can be tackled with a precise spot treatment. If poultry houses are being treated after emptying out the poultry, the application has to take place, while the stable is still warm, as the mites need to be active.

In this case, the chances of affecting all developmental stages of the mites are most likely. After properly cleaning, disinfecting and drying the whole facility, it is recommended to cover the whole facility with an even amount of diatom earth as a preventative measure.

Note:
It is recommended to cover up surfaces, which should not be treated by the spray, if they are in near proximity of the application area. The removal of the diatom earth lining is easily achieved with water. We can not take responsibility linked to the application of the product, as it is beyond our sphere of influence.
