Biology of the target organism

The food source of food moths (flour moth, dried fruit moth, meal moth, angoumois grain moth, cork moth) are pasta products, flour, rice, corn, nuts, dried fruit, soup sachets, chocolate etc. Standard food packaging does not present an obstacle for infestation. The Food Moth-Trap attracts the vermin, which subsequently stick to the adhesive surface. As a result the reproduction of further food moths is inhibited and the risk of a new infestation reduced. The trap can be placed in close proximity of foodstuff.

Note:

In order to early detect a new infestation, further treatment with Food Moth-Trap is recommended, even if no food moths are visible anymore. Used traps may be discarded as regular household garbage.
